Adana

Adana is a large city on the Seyhan river at the heart of the fertile Çukurova plain. The Roman-era Taşköprü bridge, the large Sabancı Central Mosque on the riverbank, the Varda Viaduct in the mountains and its world-famous kebab are its symbols.

Spring and autumn are the most comfortable. Summers are very hot and humid; winters are mild.

Bus terminal: Adana bus terminal is on the west side of the city. Çukurova International Airport (COV), serving Adana and Mersin, is at Tarsus.
