In short
- Rotavoya needs no account and does not collect your name, email address or phone number.
- It uses no advertising, analytics or tracking tools, and it does not share or sell your data.
- The website and the Android app show the same content, so this policy covers both.
Information kept on your device
- Your Been list, the routes you plan and preferences such as language are stored only in your device’s browser storage (localStorage) and are never sent to our server.
- Pages you visit are cached on your device so that you can open them offline.
- You can remove this information at any time by clearing the site data in your browser or the app’s storage.
Location
- Features such as nearby places and route start use your location only when you tap the button and grant permission.
- Your location is processed on your device and is neither stored nor sent to us. When a route is drawn, only the start and stop coordinates go to the routing service below.
Third-party services
- Map tiles load from OpenStreetMap servers, which therefore receive your IP address. OSM Foundation ↗
- Route drawing uses the OSRM routing service, and nearby food suggestions use the Overpass API.
- The site is served through Cloudflare, which may keep technical logs (such as IP addresses) for security and delivery. Cloudflare ↗
Children and changes
- Rotavoya does not knowingly collect information from children.
