İmamoğlu

İmamoğlu is a district 46 km east of Adana that became independent from Kozan in 1987. Its fertile plain supports maize, wheat, peach, olive and cotton farming; settlers from Romania and Bulgaria, as well as Yörük and Turkmen tribal groups, settled in the area in the 1930s-50s.
