The Walls of Diyarbakır

Diyarbakır is a long-established city on the Tigris, known for its basalt walls. The walls and the Hevsel Gardens are on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The Great Mosque, Hasan Paşa Han, the Four-Legged Minaret and the Ten-Eyed Bridge are its highlights, and its liver kebab and giant watermelons are famous.
