Türkiye's first national park: walks and picnics among centuries-old black pines.

Declared in 1958, the Yozgat Pine Forest is Türkiye's first national park. Right beside the city in the middle of the steppe, it is known for its black pines, some of them several centuries old. The park is used for nature walks, cycling and day picnics, and has a nature education centre and a small pond.
