Gürün

Gürün is Sivas's southernmost district, at the point where Sivas, Malatya, Kayseri and Kahramanmaraş provinces meet. The Şuğul Canyon, with Hittite-era rock-cut spaces, and Gökpınar Lake, 10 km south of the town centre, are its natural points of interest, and it is also known for the shawl weaving that was widespread in the 19th century.
