Havza

Havza, on the roads linking Inner Anatolia and the Black Sea, is known for its thermal springs. Atatürk set up his headquarters here from 25 May to 13 June 1919 at the start of the War of Independence and later called it 'heroic Havza'; the district also has historic bathhouses dating from Roman to Ottoman times.
