Lake Seyfe is a steppe lake in the north-east of Kırşehir province, about 1,080 metres above sea level. The lake and its surroundings were declared a Nature Conservation Area in 1990. Home to a great many bird species, it is best known for its large flamingo colonies and draws birdwatchers.
