Cacabey Madrasa
A Seljuk madrasa built as an observatory and school of astronomy.

Built in 1271-1272 by Nurettin Cibril bin Cacabey, emir of Kırşehir, the madrasa was designed as an observatory and used as a school where astronomy was taught. The square cut-stone building stands out for its portal of two-coloured stonework and its brick minaret with blue tiles, which earned it the local name Cıncıklı Camii. Later turned into a mosque, it has Cacabey's tomb beside it.
