Şişli

Şişli, on İstanbul's European side, has no coastline and is bordered by Beşiktaş to the east, Kağıthane to the north and west, and Beyoğlu to the south. The 18th-century Teşvikiye Mosque, the Âbide-i Hürriyet monument-tomb of Mahmud Şevket Paşa, and the Military Museum in Harbiye are among its historic and cultural sites; Büyükdere Avenue is one of the centres of Turkey's finance sector.
