Dülük, 10 km north of central Gaziantep, is a site whose earliest known occupation goes back to very ancient times, made up of an 'ancient city' and a 'sacred area'. The Dülük Mithras Temple in the sacred area, uncovered in excavations in 1997-98, is the first known underground Mithras temple in Anatolia. The necropolis on Keber Tepesi has rock-cut chamber tombs and sarcophagi with religious reliefs.
