The complex at Sarıköy in Mihalıççık district consists of an octagonal 13th-century Seljuk-style tomb, a mosque and a fountain. Yunus Emre is traditionally held to have been born at Sarıköy; excavations in search of his remains were carried out in 1946, and the tomb was given its present form in 1970.
