Honaz Mountain National Park covers Mount Honaz and its surroundings within the Honaz, Pamukkale and Serinhisar districts of Denizli; the mountain's 2,571-metre summit is the highest point in the Aegean Region. Shaped by a Mediterranean climate, the park has rich plant diversity, including endemic species, and is home to wild goats, wild boar, badgers and 64 bird species. It is known for its steep rocky slopes, waterfalls and areas suited to hiking and camping.
