Rising in the western Taurus mountains and reaching the Mediterranean after 93 km, the Manavgat River drops over roughly five-metre cliffs three kilometres west of the town centre to form Manavgat Waterfall. Willows, plane trees and poplars line the river, which is also home to fish such as trout and carp and various bird species. Rafting and canoeing are possible on certain stretches, and the falls are surrounded by walking and rest areas.
