Mount Ağrı, at 5,137 metres, is Türkiye's highest peak and rises on the border of Ağrı and Iğdır. Also associated with the story of Noah's Ark, it stands beside Little Ağrı. Climbing requires a permit and is done with licensed guides; check current conditions with the authorities. The mountain can also be enjoyed as a view from Doğubayazıt and Iğdır.
